The Baconator is creating hate for fast-food bacon

The fine folks at Blogadilla recently reported about minor travesty they had involving the Wendy’s Baconator. The photo above is from their website and it illustrates their complaint really well.
It was like when I found out that Santa Claus wasn’t real.
All the ingredients were there, but they didn’t look like the advertisement photos and they tasted like greasy sadness.
This is why I am still boycotting fast-food bacon, its giving good bacon a bad name. There are even people out there, like this guy, which thinks fast-food bacon is yummy. I will have to believe he has never had real bacon, because if he did, the Baconator would have been a travesty for him too.
I absolutely hate Wendy’s bacon. There’s something not right about it and the Baconator is a completely inferior sandwich, even for fast food. It’s a shame they wasted that name on it. The bacon on the McD’s Angus burgers is much much tastier.
Hmmm… I may need to try this McDs Angus and see if I agree. If I do the boycott maybe over.
I tried Subway’s BLT, and I thought it was pretty good for fast-food bacon.
It ain’t no Cracker Barrel bacon, but it’s pretty good.
I’ve been hearing a lot of good comments on McD’s Angus burger, so I may try that myself.
When have the pictures ever looked like the food? Half the time that’s not even food they’re using to create that picture. It’s just to get you in their restaurant.
I’ve had the baconator a couple of times from different Wendy’s. The first time I figured it was a new sandwich so maybe they hadn’t figured it out yet. The next time, different place pretty much the same thing. The bacon they used wasn’t that great. I agree with other posters here that the McD Angus is much better.
the sloppy picture on the left is definately not wendys so the next time you try to imposter them to make them seem like shit cut the burger into a square all there burgers are square and for ever wendys ive been to the bacon definately doesnt look that shitty

Look again. It is a square patty. I don’t lie to my readers; I just tell it like it is. If you still want proof I can do a video of me walking in and buying one.
Since you probably work at Wendy’s, you should tell them to improve their bacon, then we wouldn’t be having this discussion.
