A few days ago I posted a recipe for Bacon, Cheese, and Potato Chowder. Well, this week I gave it try and wanted to let you all know what I thought about it.
Here is what the chowder looks like:

This is what it looks like being consumed:

My only complaint about the recipe is that it only calls for two strips of bacon for the whole recipe. This is supposed to top six bowls. I knew this would be a problem so I cooked up five strips instead. Compulsively, I ended up eat two before I could top my soup. So trying to make the three strips that were left stretch over two bowls was a challenge. I think the recipe should call for two strips per bowl, not two for six.
Other than that I give this recipe a Greasy Thumbs up!

If you know any good bacon recipes you want me to try, just send them to me in an email.

I agree! Thumbs up but more bacon! The chowder was really easy to make. I was worried it would be bland, but I held back adding pepper or any seasoning to see how it was. It was really great, and I loved how you can control the amount of cheese and bacon you add. Yummy! I will make it again once it gets colder out.
