Drama at Macworld

There is a story floating around on the internet about Steve Job being mean. I guess what happened was a blogger girl asked for a picture and he rudely told her no. This is understandable if you think about how many people asked for his picture and tried to talk to him at Macworld.

Also if you read the story about how it went down, the girl walked up to him while he was messing with his phone, then tapped him on the arm. This interrupted him with whatever he was doing so he was upset. I would be too. If she would have waited till he was done, he would have been more likely to take the picture. The man was most likely getting bugged all day and she was the person he took it out on.

Just because someone is famous does not mean they are required to be nice to everyone all the time. They have the right to refuse to take a picture with you and be upset when you interrupt them. Yes I agree he could have been a little nicer about the whole thing but he’s a mean person. And that is something that has been known for a long time. So this is nothing new. It’s like walking up to a dog knowing that it’s a biter. Then when it bites you asking, “Why did it bit me”?

    Yes I guess I do have a man crush… if I could some how combine a Mac with bacon I would die a happy man!

    I love bacon. Bacon rocks. And you are absolutely right – and please take in the factor that it wasn’t just some “blogger girl.” She is a very well known porno blogger who is on the MacHeads the Movie posturing on a couch or bed and saying “I have never knowingly slept with a Windows user.” Not the height of class in my book. Further, she was wearing a name tag that identified her (and her look is very distinctive, a cute nerd girl look) and the name tag further said “Open Source Sex” (the name of her blog) Steve didn’t tell her she was being rude. He said “that would be rude,” and we are left to speculate about what “that” is. I have several likely options:

    1. He was interacting with someone or doing something and interrupting that would be rude

    2. It would be rude to the thousands of other people he had to refuse

    3. It would be rude to his wife and family to his picture plastered all over the Internet with a porno blogger.

    Thanks for the info. Now is makes sense. If I was Steven I would have done the something. No one wants there picture floating around with some kind of porn junkie in it.
