As someone who used to drink at OD on a regular basis (read: at least once a week, sometimes 2-3 times), I have to be the one to say, it was better before. in the "old days" (when Jerry Bailey owned OD), the draft version of the beer was actually aged in oak barrels. The bottled stuff was made with oak chips in the fermenter, which was "close" but nowhere near to the real deal. At some point after JB sold the brewery to Coastal (the new ownership: 51% Fordham, 49% Anheuser-Busch), the recipe was standardized to the oak chip version. It was seriously not as good.

I had it recently on tap (the oak chip version), and it was good, but a pale shadow of what it used to be...

I wish i was beer so i could get a "mouth feel"

Remember when your images used to have bacon incorporated into them? Now they are just thrown on the side of the images. Kinda bums me out.
