Three beer reviews for the price of one

For this week’s Thirsty Thursday I am pulling out three beer reviews I did back in 2008. This was when I had the time to sit down and give beer a proper review. The three beers I reviewed where, Pittsburgh’s Penn Pilsner, Dominion Oak Barrel Stout, and Yuengling Traditional Lager.

    Yuengling was my gateway into good beers. It was the first beer that I ever had that made me take note of the flavor of beer & how it can be so satisfying. It is now a great go-to beer around the ‘Burgh… I remember a time when it wasn’t really all that readily available.

    Penn Pilsner is also just an excellent brew… I really enjoyed the reviews, and I’m going to have to seek out some Old Dominion.

    Ever review Straub or Straub Special Dark…?

    I am glad you enjoyed the full reviews, I might have to bring them back.

    I have had Straub before, I thought it was a drinkable beer but nothing special. I never had Special Dark, but I do like dark beers so I will have to give it a try.

    Beer has come along way from the overly carbonated watered down beer that has been sold in the past. And still selling today. But now with so many choices to pick from. I try to find a new one every time I go out. I do know for a fact that you do have good taste in beer,so keep on rating and I’ll keep on drinking.
