Four Days Without Internet
I know you all are wondering were I have been. I post up really weird and old content, and then vanish over the weekend. Well I am now back and I have a good reason for the lack of postings. I was in Tennessee over the weekend visiting my Grandparents and Dollywood.
I know what your thinking, couldn’t you have updated while you were there? The answer is no. They live in an area were all there is around them are farms and trees. The closest Wal-Mart is a 30 min drive. So if they did have an internet connection it wouldn’t get much better then 56k. Let me just say it was nice not having to worry about work, blogs, and money.
So after four days without the internet it was hard to get back in to the swing of things. Everything and everyone is so laid back in the South so I guess some of that slowness rubbed off on me. I don’t mind, it’s nice to know that I have a place to go to when the city gets to me and I need a break.
My trip was great; I relaxed all day, ate three home cooked meals a day, and enjoy sweet tea on the back porch swing. Then to top it all off I road one of the best wooden rollercoaster while I was at Dollywood, called Thunderhead. I think it may have beaten Kennywood’s Thunderbolt for my number one wooden rollercoaster.
