There is a revolution coming
Do you know which side you’re on
Are you an individual or lost in the mob?
Do you understand freedom
And keep your values to yourself
So others can make a free choice?
People need to understand that you can’t force people to share your values. The only time you can force anyone to do anything is when they are directly interfering with your lively hood (for example, trying to kill or harm you physically). Let people live they way they want and they will do the same for you. There are more important things to worry about then what other people are doing with their own lives. If you value freedom then you should value freedom of choice.
This is a list of things that I have being noticing lately and thought I would share them.
- I have noticed in the office I work in that people are listing to mp3 players. It funny how some music makes the day go by better.

Circuit City has better prices on something then Best Buy. I know it’s just to get you in the store so that can up sale you. But if you stick to your guns you can come away with a good deal.
- People love stickers. Even if the sticker has some stupid logo on it you still will pick it up.
- If you have a box of tissues on your desk everyone thinks there free for the taking. Then when you need one you’re all out.
- People, who normally would not steal, will steal coffee creamer in a heart beat. You can’t drink coffee with out it.
- Who ever invented the letter opener was a genus, because your finger just doesn’t cut it.
- I noticed that the sound of typing annoys me, so I got a new mp3 player too.

Everyone keeps asking me how my new job is going. I really don’t know how to answer that question. All I can ever come up with is, “Great”! What else is there to say? But every time I give that answer I just get a blink stair like they want more. Usually at that time I say, “It’s going good. I really like it a lot”. Then that satisfies them and they walk away.
That’s all I have to say I really have say. It’s just annoying to have the same 30 second conversation five times a day.

I don’t think people are getting the point of my podcast talk Objectivism on talkshoe.com. I hope the following will help.
Also I started this podcast NOT because I am an expert or even think that I am an expert. It was started because I feel that people are not talking about this stuff enough and the people that do are intellectual snobs. And snob there nose at people that do not know every word that came out of Ayn Rand’s mouth. I wonted this to be a friendly place for new people to talk about objectivism with friendly experts. (I just need to find them.)
I just like the philosophy and try to live my life by it, but I don’t have the time to sit, read and analyze every book every written on the subject. So I depend on an open dialog to keep me informed and motivated to learn for myself.
Ever since I started this podcast I have learned a lot from people. And that is what it’s all about. I just need a little help people who are the experts. So I can ask them questions, talk, and learn live on the show. So then maybe other people will not feel intimidated about this philosophy and will start to learn it on there own, too.
I got some feedback about the first talkObjectivism podcast. It was all pretty good, so I am happy about that. I know the show well get better. I just need to get people to call in.
The first email I got was from the President of the Ayn Rand Club at UCI. He told me how to say “Ayn” correctly and told me that I should not go to, www.objectivistcenter.org.
“I strongly suggest not to visit “Atlas Society” or “the Objectivist Center”. They were started by David Kelley, who was kicked out of the Ayn Rand Institute after restarted to preach things against Objectivism. You should judge this for yourself, but I thought I’d warn you as soon as possible.”
I heard about this before but I still find that the website is easier to use then www.aynrand.org. If they can get the content more searchable I will use it.
On the second show I talk about Monopoly’s and how they can’t happen in a free market. The show was kind of slow. I have a few people that might call in next week. So that should improve things.
