Penny for your thoughts.
I feel sorry for the penny. No one likes or even cares about them anymore. You can?t even walk down the street without see them all over the ground. I bet they?re hoping that some kid, who doesn?t understand their worthlessness, will bend over to pick them up.
There was at time when the penny was worth something. When you could go to the store and buy yourself some good old penny candy. But that time is over. Now you go to the store and you?re forced in to buying it by the bag full so they can charge you more. What is this world coming to?
I bet if there were still penny candy being sold you would see less pennies on the ground. Because having a penny would mean sugary delights were in your future. Oh the good old days, how we miss you sugary sweetness.
